This Privacy Policy describes how Rapid Recovery, LLC ("Rapid Recovery", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application "Rapid Recovery" (the "App") on iOS or Android devices. This policy applies only to the mobile App. Use of our website, www.rapidrecoveryroom.com, in-clinic services, or our booking software (IntakeQ) is governed by the privacy practices applicable to those services.

By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you book an appointment through the App, you provide information that the App passes to our booking software (IntakeQ) to schedule and manage your appointment. This includes:

- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Any optional notes or appointment preferences you choose to share
 

Information collected automatically

When you use the App, the following information may be collected automatically:

- Device information (device model, operating system version, language, time zone)
- App version and a randomized device identifier used for crash diagnostics
- General location information, only when you grant the App permission to access your location, used solely to suggest the nearest Rapid Recovery clinic
- Photos or images, only if you choose to upload them through the App, accessed only when you grant permission to your camera or photo library

We do not collect precise location data in the background. We do not access your contacts, microphone, calendar, health data, or any other sensitive information not explicitly listed above.

Information we do not collect

The App does not collect:

- Credit card numbers or payment information (payment is handled at the clinic or through our website, not in the App)
- Insurance information
- Medical records or treatment history
- Social security numbers or government identifiers

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through the App to:

- Schedule and manage your appointments through IntakeQ
- Show you the nearest Rapid Recovery clinic location
- Provide customer support if you contact us
- Send you appointment confirmations or reminders related to your booking
- Diagnose technical issues and improve the App
- Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to providing you the booking service.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

- **With IntakeQ**, our HIPAA-compliant booking software, which receives the contact and appointment information you provide so we can schedule and manage your visit. IntakeQ's handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policy and their Business Associate Agreement with us.
- **With Apple and Google**, who operate the app stores and may collect basic technical data (such as crash logs and download metrics) under their own privacy policies.
- **With service providers** who help us operate the App (such as cloud hosting providers), only as needed for them to perform that service, and only under confidentiality obligations.
- **As required by law**, including in response to a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rapid Recovery, our patients, or others.
- **In a business transfer**, if Rapid Recovery is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets, in which case you will be notified by email or by a prominent notice on our website before your information is transferred.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

We retain the contact and appointment information you provide for as long as needed to provide you the booking service and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Automatically collected technical data is typically retained for up to 24 months and may be retained longer in aggregated, anonymized form.

Your Choices and Rights

You have the following rights regarding your information:

- **Access**: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- **Correction**: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

- **Uninstall**: You may stop all collection of information by the App by uninstalling it from your device.

Permissions Used by the App

The App requests the following device permissions, only when needed for the relevant feature:

- **Location**: used to suggest the nearest Rapid Recovery clinic. The App requests "while in use" access only and does not track your location in the background.
- **Camera**: used only if you choose to upload an image during the booking flow.
- **Photo Library**: used only if you choose to select an existing photo to upload during the booking flow.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's settings under the Rapid Recovery App entry.

Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. However, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at contact@rapidrecoveryroom.com and we will promptly delete it.

International Users

The App is intended for use in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, we will notify you in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
